John Reed
Founder and President
John is the founder of Ember Innovations and the inventor of Magnetic Bias Repeater. His ambition for innovation and solving complex challenges led him to pioneer our new technology for the transformation of the renewable energy space. Prior to Ember, John founded a successful firm in the real estate and financial services sector, where he served as president for nearly two decades. His company specialized in asset portfolio restructure that included financial advisor services for notable corporations such as JPMorgan Chase, Citicorp, Wells Fargo and numerous other holdings companies.
His expertise in innovation and design stems from his career in luxury real estate and high-end residential construction. During this time, John collaborated with the team of architect I.M. Pei and designers Mark Hampton and David Eastman in various building projects in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and became one of the most sought-after names in luxury residential construction in New York. His work includes contributions to the Consulate General of Israel in New York, the New York Public Library, the Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
John is an accomplished inventor with numerous new product development designs, including a groundbreaking utility patent for the first driver safety cellular signal detection system. His diverse background and commitment to innovation continue to drive Ember Innovations toward creating viable solutions in renewable energy.
Jake Reed
Managing Director
Jake oversees Ember’s marketing efforts, operational strategy, and business development. With over a decade of experience in business management and communications, Jake is instrumental in driving the company's growth and visibility in the renewable energy sector.
His background spans multiple industries, including digital marketing where he has worked for one of the foremost political consulting agencies in the field. Here, he implemented data-driven strategies to enhance campaign performance and engagement, specializing in data analytics, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and lead generation.
His business development experience extends into sports management, where he formed a successful soccer coaching and recruiting company and expanded its reach across the U.S. and Canada through organic marketing initiatives. As General Manager of one of the largest indoor sports venues in the northeastern U.S., he led business growth through original promotional initiatives and the development of over thirty new programs and products. With a strong track record of driving operational success and executing high-impact marketing strategies, Jake plays a pivotal role in advancing Ember's mission to revolutionize the renewable energy space.
